Together as one.

‘Supportive’ would be a good word to sum up our culture. We all look out for each other and place a big emphasis on teamwork - whether we’re attending an incident or undergoing training back at the station. We’re also committed to making sure everyone within the service has the opportunity to build on their skills and achieve whatever goals they’ve set themselves.

We know from first hand experience that Fire doesn’t discriminate, so neither do we. We openly encourage people from all backgrounds to join us. That way we’ll be in a better position to engage with, and protect, the diverse range of communities we serve.

And as for the Station environment itself, well, probably the best way to describe it would be ‘busier than you might think’. More detailed information about the shifts we work can be found by clicking on the link. But the great thing is that, no matter where you’re based, or whatever time of day you’re on call, you’ll be surrounded by experienced members of the team who’ll not only give you a warm welcome but also be on hand to pass on their invaluable knowledge.
